Inverter Compressor

Inverter compressors are not only the leader in temperature and humidity control, but also in efficiency! Reduced compressor speed has a direct impact on both consumption and demand charges in a building.

Modulating Head Pressure Control

Rebel's standard modulating head pressure control provides lower head pressures at part load to decrease the lift (work) on the compressor.

Electronic Expansion Valves

Rebel’s Electronic Expansion Valve (EXV) allows for very low refrigerant superheat and more phase change heat transfer. The latter of the two is much more efficient. The EXV reacts to a stepper motor command and in a much faster fashion than a traditional pressure reacting Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV). Fast reaction allows for less superheat while still preventing liquid refrigerant entering the compressor.

Low-Leak Dampers

Rebel's low leak dampers provide three times less leakage than the AMCA standard leak rate. Leaking dampers allow unconditioned air into the unit, and conditioned air out of the unit, which leads to wasted energy consumption.

ECM Fans

Direct drive fans aren't subject to belt losses, and EC motor technology provides superior efficiency throughout the entire range of operation.
